We Are Not Equal, a collection of erotic and brutal poems by artist Nathalia Pizarro, features 128 poems and illustrations ranging from articulated lucid dreams, relationships, the rearing of childhood trauma, sexual vulgarity, and deviance. Inspired by the Marquis de Sade, Alejandro Jodorowsky, and Anaïs Nin, the collection explores provocative matters as only a poet can, and includes compositions that touch on the abandoned and isolated journey of motherhood and marriage.
