It's the first day of fall and Hat & Beard Press is whooping it up at the New York Art Book Fair with two new books: The Mash Up: Hip-Hop Photos Remixed by Iconic Graffiti Artists and No Age & Brian Roettinger: Graphic Archive, 2007-2018.
Janette Beckman and Cey Adams, the photographer and curator behind The Mash Up, were at the H&B booth signing early copies, and Brian Roettinger flew in from Los Angeles to sign a few early copies of No Age & Brian Roettinger, his new book chronicling a years-long design collaboration with noise-rock duo No Age.
It was a busy summer and with the upcoming release of Home: A Nice Place to Visit by Adam Goldberg of the Goldberg Sisters, and a pair of Lou Reed/Velvet Underground books we're thrilled to have produced (My Week Beats Your Year: Encounters with Lou Reed and The Velvet Underground Experience, a monograph of the upcoming Velvet Underground exhibition opening in New York next month, which opened in Paris in 2016), fall and winter are gearing up to be just as lively.
Upcoming titles are available for pre-order now. The Mash Up and No Age will be shipping to customers beginning next week!
Stay with us, friends. We have a lot left to report in the coming months.
